Event Specifics!

The event is being held on Friday December 28, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Boston. There will be a reception beginning at 6:30 pm and Seating for dinner will be at 7:20 with the March-In at 7:30. Dinner will be served at 8:00 and the Cake Cutting Ceremony will take place at 8:45 followed by desert service at 9:00 with door prize drawings. The Dance will begin at 9:30 and will go until 12:00 AM.

First in the Nation Primary on the doorstep!

With our event 10 days prior to the First in the Nation Primary in New Hampshire - We are expecting Governors, Senators and Presidential Candidates to be in attendance.

Take your memories home with you!

Formal Portraits will be available during the reception and dinner and will be available to be taken home with attendees at the end of the evening.

First Night is Boston’s New Year’s Eve Celebration of the Arts and it is Boston’s most celebrated party of the year! We urge you all to come to Boston and Celebrate New Years in style. Jazz Music and Swing Dancing!

First Night New Year's Eve activities take place from 1pm to midnight on Monday, December 31st, 2007 at over 30 indoor and outdoor venues throughout downtown Boston. With the purchase of a First Night button, revelers gain admission to performances featuring the very best in theatre, dance, music, visual arts, film and more.

Museums, theaters, churches and performance centers open their doors to First Night Button holders throughout the entire day. Popular attractions include the Family Festival (1-5 PM) at the Hynes Convention Center featuring interactive activities for all ages, gigantic ice sculptures on Copley Square and the Boston Common, a glittering fireworks display (7:00 PM on the Boston Common and at Midnight on Boston Harbor), and a Mardi-Gras style Grand Procession (5:30 PM) that sweeps through the streets of Boston. Running for over 30 years, last year’s event drew 1,000,000 people and featured over 250 artists across 40 different stages.

Getting around is not a problem either as the T (Boston Metro) is free after 7 PM on New Years Eve.

Our Reception will have a Mediterranean Table that includes Assorted Grilled Vegetables, Hummus, Tabouleh, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Marinated Feta, Roasted Eggplant and Casablanca Olives, all served with Pita Chips.

There will be 2 Cash Bars available during the reception.

For Dinner the Chef has planned a wonderful menu for us.

Our Salad Service will be:
Local Baby Greens with Pear Tomatoes, Smokey Bacon and Goat Cheese with Champagne Vinaigrette.

There will be a Vegetarian Entree as an option.

Our entree choices are:
Sliced New York Strip Loin with Port Demi Glace and Crumbled Blue Cheese, Sweet Potato Puree and Steamed Asparagus with Roll and Butter.
